SERGE BETSEN ACADEMY

Serge Betsen was born in Cameroon and now he is a French union rugby player. He founded the organisation in 2004 to help the children in his country of birth and help them to create their future.

Originally the project was planed to increase the popularity of rugby with disadvantaged youth in Cameroon. "Les Enfants de Biemassy", renamed "Serge Betsen Academy”, now uses the teaching of this sport as a vehicle for social integration and for access to education for hundreds of underprivileged children in Yaounde and its suburbs.
